Juan
Ybarra est un acteur, danseur et chorégraphe originaire
de Mexico. Il a
présenté son travail au Festival Latino (New York),
au Bilingual Foundation
for the Arts (L.A.), au Long Beach Opera et à l1université
de Galles à
Aberystwyth (G.B.). Il collabore avec l'artiste multidisciplinaire
Guillermo
Gomez-Pena qui représente l1une de ses majeures influences
dans sa pratique
de la performance. Juan est en résidence depuis trois
ans à l'école de mime
corporel Omnibus (Montréal) grâce au soutien financier
de l'Institut
National des Beaux-Arts (INBA) et du Fonds National des Arts
et de la
Culture (FONCA).
Juan
Ybarra is an actor, dancer and choreographer. He has performed
at the
Festival Latino in New York, the Bilingual Foundation for the
Arts in Los
Angeles, the Long Beach Opera and the University of Wales at
Aberystwyth
(England). He has collaborated in the some of the most recent
works of
multidisciplinary artist Guillermo Gomez-Pena, who is his principal
influence in performance art. Originally from Mexico City, he
is currently
living in Montreal participating in a three year residency at
Omnibus1s mime
school, thanks to the financial support of the Institut National
des
Beaux-Arts (INBA) and the Fonds National des Arts et de la Culture
(FONCA).
