Born in Switzerland.
In his projects, Heinrich Lüber mixes performance, photos,
videos and virtual images as well as installations and artistic
objects.
He links these different medias in a sort of experimental research.
The use of the language plays an important role.
Pieces of children's phrases, of ritual locutions,
of the body and language are reproduced out of their context.
By the choice of the action wether played in a monolog or in
a dialog,
he seeks for the plastic basis of language.
He is a member of Performance Index in Bale (Switzerland).
This association gathers artists and art theorists and organizes
a festival
in which they mix a whole generation of artists and theorists
who work in the field of performance since1970,
as well as young artists, so as to create a contact
between these two generations.
Finally, the archives they have gathered allow a large
overview of these interdisciplinary webs.
