Born in 1955 in England, lives in Dublin.
He is the perfect story teller, the author of small explosions
of sad and true truths told bravely and simply with pictures
and sound realized by Anne Seagrave.
This narator finds his own fascination around poverty,
family, metaphysical troubles and other untouchable conversations,
he turn them into parody with cynism, like verbal hallucinations.
In a theater filled with anger, pain and truth, Oscar MacLennan
draw a portray of our neurosis with a striking determination,
often truly lyrical and tempered with self mockery.
He has been living in 4 different big cities and can't help
looking
at the world with the eyes of an exile. Briliant and disturbing.
