Born in England in 1959. Australian nationality.
Her scene presence stressed by the strength and the originality
of her work gives Amanda an unusual aura.
Sound poet, she has created since 1970 a wide range of poetic
texts,
performances, radio works, films, videos in Australia, Japon,
USA and Europe.
From 1983 to 1993, she worked at ABC Radio in Sydney and co-wrote
in 1990
the documentary film "Eclipse of the Man Made Sun".
She generally works as an independant writer/performer.
In 1996, she produced with the composer Colin Bright
"The Singing of the Rainbow Warrior", organised a tour
in Europe,
and showed it in the Sydney Festival in 1997.
A new CD/book about her personal work just came out. "I/T".
