Born in Canada in 1955.
As a musician and a poet, Mark Sutherland bases his work on language.
He is a member of Socan, the canadian authors,
composers and music editors company.
Several poetic texts were already published
(Poetry Canada Review, Rampike, Espace... ),
and he has already wrotten more than 10 books.
While Mark Sutherland's litterary influences
can be found in Dada and the Futurist movement,
his vocal expressions use repetition,
phrasing and rythmical accentuation and is inspired
by the contemporary experimental music strategies
and American Jazz and Blues traditions.
He regularly works with Nobuo Kubota.
